Carly Ianuzzi, LCSW (she/her)

I'm Carly and I am an experienced therapist with a trauma informed and collaborative approach.

My goal is to support individuals navigating difficult and challenging situations, relationships, childhood trauma and processing the impact of trauma on parenting. And ultimately, make meaning, find purpose, and explore a new sense of self.

I have over 10 years experience as a clinical social worker. My therapy practice has an area of focus of perinatal mental health and my specialty is in the intersection of trauma, the perinatal period and parenting. Perinatal Therapy is an area of my practice I did not arrive at by accident. I am a mother of two, who navigated my own experience of birth trauma, perinatal and postpartum anxiety and depression. With the support of a nurturing community, I was able to find peace and healing and I would be honored to be a part of your community.

My education is in clinical social work from Bryn Mawr College and I have a credential in perinatal mental health from PostPartum Support International. My training and work experience is in community mental health, domestic violence and rape crisis centers. In my practice I use a humanistic approach and modalities like mindfulness, empowerment, DBT, and trauma focused CBT.

Individual and group sessions are held in person or virtually. I accept Excellus BCBS, private pay, super bills and sliding scale options.
